Benefits are deposited on the 25th of each month unless the 25th is on the weekend or a holiday. In that case, your benefit will be deposited on the last business day before the weekend or holiday. Do I receive a “Notification of Direct Deposit” of my retirement benefit payment every month? No. “Deposit notification” statements for benefit recipients – retirees, beneficiaries and disability recipients – are available only through the ORBIT system. Statements are not mailed.
